Pleasure Island at Downtown Disney
A night at Downtown Disney® Pleasure Island is the perfect way to celebrate being on vacation. With seven clubs to choose from, you’re sure to find something to suit your taste. If you’re looking for a blast to the past, check out 8Trax, where you’ll find lava lamps and mirror balls along with hits from the 70s. Mannequins Dance Palace features a spinning dance floor and the Rock ‘n Roll Beach Club plays a variety of music from the 60s to the 90s on its three levels.
Orlando nightlife wouldn’t be complete without Universal CityWalk. With 30 acres of dining, events and entertainment, you’ll never run out of things to do. Especially popular with the singles crowd is the lively music at The Latin Quarter and karaoke at CityJazz. Live piano music can be heard at Pat O’Brien’s and the groove has mainstream dance music every night. If a relaxing atmosphere is more your thing, Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville is the place to kick back. The restaurant’s patio bar offers specialty drinks and live music nightly.
If you stay at one of the onsite hotels at Universal Orlando Resort, be sure to ask your concierge about Velvet Sessions, a prestigious invitation-only rock & roll cocktail party held the last Thursday of each month at Velvet Bar at the Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando Resort. Each "session" features a different beverage theme, along with great food and live entertainment from top names in the music industry, including Cheap Trick, Uncle Kracker, Loverboy, Joan Jett and Quiet Riot.

Both rooftop clubs have a great view of Orlando ’s skyline. A unique hideout is Eye Spylook for a British telephone booth on Washington Street (that’s the front door).
